During the March 18 broadcast at The National Autoshow on Business News Radio Joris Bergsma and Bart Kleyn will invite the public to be part of The 100 Miles of Amsterdam

 

 

Later that day The Amsterdam TV station AT5, the ANP and the free Newspaper Metro ask if the event still takes place.

 

 

At 8 o'clock in the morning RTV-Noord Holland sends out an interview about The 100 Miles. People are told to come and enjoy the spectacle along the route.

 

On Sunday December 20th De Telegraaf publishes about The 100 Miles on its website.

 

 

In its Amsterdam section the national newspaper "Het Parool" annonces the 100 Miles.

 

 

The Noord-Hollands Dagblad, the newspaper for North Holland, invites spectators to come to the midnight stop at "Het Wapen van Middelie".

 

 

The Stadsblad for Amsterdam North and South, distributes door to door by the commune, invites people to come and see the competitors along their itinerary.

Many newspapers have been approached.

 

Het Parool, the quality newspaper for greater Amsterdam has been approached. It is likely that they will cover The 100 Miles, especially since the sun of the famous Dutch writer Rudy Kousbroek will be reading a short piece of father’s work.

 

The Polder Express will be publishing an article so as to make sure that the people living near the midnight stop in Middelie will have a chance to see the cars.

 

The Wesper Nieuws was very interested and they will not only publish an article, they will be along the road in order to report on the event. It might even come on their local radio station.

 

The same goes for the Amsterdams Stadsblad. They will certainly pay attention to The 100 Miles and advise the public to go to see the start.

 

The Gooi en Eembode will also be covering the event.
